The correct answer is Wham, with their timeless classic, Last Christmas. Covered over 50 times (for real) by some of the greats - Whigfield, Billie, Ashley Tisdale, and Crazy Frog (i swear, i didn't make any of those up) Apparently, this song ripped off an old Barry Manilow song and an out-of-court settlement was reached to resolve the issue.
